Sunday Meeting for Worship

Held every Sunday at 10.30 am to 11:15am both in person and on Zoom.  We are delighted to see visitors and new attenders, who will be specially welcomed on the door. Tea and coffee is provided afterwards and is a good time to meet some of us.

Children's Meeting

We have a thriving and growing children’s meeting with three groups for children of different ages every Sunday in term time and a single all-age group during the holidays. See  Children and Young People  for more details.

Learning

We have a rolling programme of learning for both newcomers to the meeting and Friends who have been members for many years. These include weekends away, study groups and one- off 'extension Meetings' after Meeting for Worship on Sundays. There is also a regular strand called Becoming Friends, intended especially for new people. Most events are open to everyone and are announced in our notices, the newsletter and posted here on the Diary Dates page.

The Quaker Ukulele Orchestra of Forest Hill

otherwise known as "Quo without the Status"!  This was formed in September 2009 and meets about once a fortnight. Newly interested parties are always very welcome to come along.

Book Group

This meets every 5 or 6 weeks, usually on a Sunday evening, currently on Zoom.  Anyone is welcome even if they haven't read the book.

Issues and Campaigns
Quakers work actively to make this a better world. As individuals and as a Meeting we support a variety of charities in line with our testimonies for peace, equality, simplicity, truth and sustainability . We have monthly collection for a good cause and ongoing support for various charities and issues such as Lewisham Churches for Asylum Seekers (LEWCAS) who provide a weekly box of basic foodstuffs for, at present, 12 destitute asylum seekers and work with other faith groups and local organisations to support refugees from the conflict in the Middle East. For more about our ecumenical and interfaith work  click here
For further information on any of these  please contact us by email.  For a calendar of upcoming events see the Diary Dates page of this site.
